Percocet

What is Percocet?

Percocet® is a combination of oxycodone, an opioid pain reliever, and acetaminophen, a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of the oxycodone.

Percocet is prescribed to treat moderate to severe acute pain. Percocet® relieves pain by binding to the opiate receptors in the brain. The intent of this drug is to depress the central nervous system.
